Something about this burger just feels happy. Is it the price? Is it the kid-friendly size? Whatever reason, it’s the perfect combo of salty, savory and sweet.

My favorite one is at Parker Meridian

Through a posh lobby and around a dark coner awaits the hidden home of one of the city’s most beloved burger.
Yvonne’s choise : The works Yellow and white cheddar, L/T/P, red onions, mustard, ketchup, mayo

The other one : 131 2nd Ave, East Village
Lunch and dinner, 7 days a week
Look for the giant fiberglass double cheese burger outside. Best place to eat : the bar. You could talk with the charming bartender.

The West Coast has In-N-Out burger, and the East Coast has Five Guys. Since their start in DC in 1986, the Guys have been serving « the people’s burger » for under 7$. Plus, you can munch on free salted peanuts as you wait.

Lunch and dinner, 7 days a week
Yvonne love their grad-size Mikey’s Burger: a thick beef patty, topped with sauted  corned beef and onion with Dijon mustard melting into a rich, teriyaki-like flavor. Add cheese for 1$.
